Guatemala weather forecast for June 12 2013

Lesman Yokobsen is a recognized for his  role as Guatemala’s Chief Meteorologist helping predict many storms as they approached the highland of Guatemala including both Tropical Storm Agatha in 2010 and Tropical Storm Betty in 2013.
Antigua Guatemala – Lake Atitlan
Daytime: Variable clouds with thunderstorms here and there. High 79F (26C). Winds NNE at 10 to 15 mph (16 to 24 kms). Chance of rain 60%.
Nighttime: No star gazing tonight with partly to mostly cloudy skies and scattered thunderstorms mainly during the evening. Low 61F (16C). Winds N at 10 to 15 mph (16 to 24 kms). Chance of rain 60%.
Flores Guatemala – If you’re going to Tikal Guatemala to see awesome Maya ruins.
Daytime: A patchwork of  clouds and sun with scattered thunderstorms. High 92F (33C). Winds ENE at 5 to 10 mph (8 to 12 kms). Chance of rain 40%. .
Nighttime: Cameo appearances of thunderstorms early, then partly cloudy after midnight. Low 71F (21C). Winds hinty, light and coming and going. Chance of rain 30%.
Livingston Guatemala – If you’re after a Caribbean experience in Guatemala.
Daytime:  You’ll need a sunhat and umbrella due to fickle clouds with scattered thunderstorms. Heat index near 105F. High 89F. Winds NE at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 40%.
Nighttime: Isolated thunderstorms in the evening, then skies turning partly cloudy after midnight. Low near 75F (23C). Winds NE at 5 to 10 mph (8 to 12 kms). Chance of rain 30%.
Monterrico Guatemala – If you’ve got a thing for Pacific beaches that are pristine and hot, hot,hot year-round.
Daytime:  A bit of everything today with clouds and sun with a shower or thunderstorm putting in an appearance. It’ll be another scorcher with a high of 95F (35C) Winds won’t help much at 5 to 10 mph (8 to 12 kms).  The humid index will be 109F (43C).
Nighttime:  An evening shower or thunderstorm will slouch in.  That might help to keep the temperature down to 72F (22C). It’s generally going to be partly cloudy. Winds 4 to 8 mph (6 to 12 kms).
